Kolfok Intra! the Wild (Orange) 2022

(70%) Gruner Veltliner (30%) Welschriesling

Intracellular fermentation, meaning fermentation inside the intact berry is ehat winemaker empoyed to achieve the fine and subtle skin contact wine he prefers

Stefan Wellanschitz likes the phenolic notes of skin-fermented wines but was looking for a way to preserve the wine's elegance. He achieved just that with intracellular fermentation. The intact grapes rest in a large fermentation vessel for 62 days where native yeasts slowly start the fermentation process inside of the berries, leading to a gentler extraction of the skins. After maceration the grapes were gently pressed before being moved to 1200 liter used Stockinger barrels. The blend is dominated by Gruner Veltliner with some Welschriesling. A wine with wonderful smooth phenolic texture. No sulphur added.

Saints Hills, Black, Plavac Mali, Dalmatia, Croatia

Its been quite awhile since we last poured the Croatian Gem and workhorse varietal, Plavac Mali. Striking ruby red hues with purple nuances. The name "Plavac Mali" translates to "little blue" in Croatian, which refers to the small, dark blue grapes that the vine produces. On the nose, cherry and plum scents, as well as Mediterranean spice such as thyme or oregano. On the palate, its a full-bodied, a juicy red, with notes of forest fruit, and vanilla on the finish.

Domaine 3 Cellier, Rhone Rouge, France

65 Grenache/ 20 Syrah/ 15 Mouvedre

With a bright garnet red, this Côtes du Rhône is very charming. It exalts aromas of red fruits such as morello cherry, wild strawberry, where discreet peppery notes mingle. The mouth is very rounded. A wine rewarded with the gold medal of the general agricultural competition in 2016 for the following vintage.

Domaine des 3 Cellier decided to produce this wine for the first time in 2011. In 2004, the Côtes du Rhône Appellation area extended to 10 new communes, suitable for producing AOC Côtes du Rhône wines (nine in Gard and one in Vaucluse), they came to enlarge the production area.

In 2007, Marc Cellier retired and passed the torch to the new generation. It is then logical for his children, the "3 Cellier" (Ludovic, Julien and Benoit), to take over and represent the 8th generation of the family to shape the vineyard and produce Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines.

Deep and refreshing with red fruit and spice notes.
